Simulator and version context
MSFS 2024 package identified in official Microsoft release notes. Pilatus’s cockpit film shows the real aircraft and was published in 2021.

Use the tour to understand the cockpit layout. Functions and production options shown on the real aircraft must be checked against the current simulated package.

8 topics shown

01

Aircraft and cockpit

Orient yourself before using the controls.

Official reference

PC-24 in MSFS 2024

Separate the current simulator package from real-aircraft equipment.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Microsoft identifies the simulator PC-24 as a Carenado aircraft.
  • Pilatus’s current real-aircraft specification may describe different options.
  • Check the loaded package and current checklist before applying the tour.

Bring it into your flight

Confirm the loaded aircraft and current installed checklist.

Manufacturer orientation

Understand the ACE flight deck

Use the company test-pilot cockpit tour to build orientation.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Use the company test pilot’s explanation to orient around ACE.
  • Locate flight displays, guidance controls and the systems interface.
  • Compare the demonstrated real cockpit with the simulated one.

Bring it into your flight

Compare the demonstrated controls with the modeled cockpit.

02

FMS, guidance and performance

Separate real-aircraft demonstrations from simulator procedures.

Manufacturer orientation

Flight management and navigation

Identify the FMS and guidance control areas in the ACE architecture.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Identify the flight-management and navigation areas.
  • Distinguish a real-aircraft interface explanation from simulator key sequences.
  • Use the current package’s route-entry and navigation instructions.

Bring it into your flight

Use the installed MSFS checklist for route-entry key sequences; no complete official simulator FMS course was verified.

Manufacturer orientation

Autopilot and autothrottle awareness

Relate the flight-guidance controls to their annunciations.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Locate the guidance controls and their annunciations.
  • Check which autopilot and autothrottle functions the package implements.
  • A current Pilatus feature listing is not proof that the simulator reproduces it.

Bring it into your flight

Confirm the functions actually modeled before adopting a real-aircraft demonstration.

Takeoff and landing data

Treat performance as a per-flight calculation.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Use takeoff and landing data for the actual aircraft and conditions.
  • Check units, runway and configuration inputs.
  • Historical simulator corrections do not supply a reusable performance table.

Bring it into your flight

Use current in-sim data and runway conditions; the historic release note is not a universal performance table.

03

Systems and procedure sources

Keep the current aircraft reference beside the flight.

Official reference

Electrical, fuel and environmental indications

Build a scan of the system displays.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Locate electrical, fuel and environmental indications.
  • Check the current pressurisation and systems state against the checklist.
  • Treat release-note fixes as build context, not proof of the present state.

Bring it into your flight

Check present indications and current checklist rather than assuming a historic fix proves the installed state.

Official reference

Read alongside: PC-24: electrical/pressurisation/fuel/ECS revision.

Official reference

Normal flight and shutdown references

Keep the installed procedure source beside the cockpit.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Use the current simulator checklist for start and normal flight.
  • Prepare arrival, parking and securing as distinct phases.
  • The public Pilatus cockpit tour is orientation, not a complete normal-procedures course.

Bring it into your flight

Use current simulator checklists for start, arrival and shutdown; the public cockpit tour is not a complete normal-procedures course.

Alerts and abnormal reference

Know where the applicable procedure comes from.Open this topic

What to understand

  • Know where the applicable current alert and checklist reference comes from.
  • Public ground-servicing documents are not a flight QRH.
  • Do not substitute an older IRIS FSX/P3D manual for the Carenado aircraft.

Bring it into your flight

Use the current simulator package’s alert and checklist reference. The linked public Pilatus documents do not supply a complete simulator QRH.

Official reference

Read alongside: Technical Publications / PC-24 SU7.

Keep the scope beside the source.

A complete current public Carenado PC-24 operating manual, FMS course or simulator QRH was not verified. Use the current in-sim checklist for operating sequences.

Pilatus technical-publication access distinguishes public ground documents from flight manuals in MyPilatus. An older IRIS FSX/P3D PC-24 manual is not substituted for the current simulator aircraft.

Source review and live VA fleet check: 30 October 2026. A reference implementation is not a declaration of your installed package or a local flight test. Current simulator-aircraft procedures and limits take precedence over older recordings and real-aircraft brochures.
