Crew Resources 1.0 · 26 October 2026

Bring the company into your cockpit.

The public Flight Bag remains the single place for the current public application and release notes. The crew instructions below complete its tablet, setup, wallpaper and audio references.

Your iPad. One flight deck.

Crew Deck brings the external Fenix flight bag, flight computer and cabin panel into a single UZB workspace. Three instrument cards lead to the original Fenix displays; a fourth Briefing UZB card reads a minimal sector snapshot when you enable sharing on the simulator PC. Return controls stay outside compatible embedded panels.

  • 01 / ELECTRONIC FLIGHT BAG

    EFB

Briefings, documents and performance in your external Fenix flight bag.

  • 02 / FLIGHT MANAGEMENT

    MCDU

Your original remote flight computer, with route, performance and AOC pages.

  • 03 / CABIN MANAGEMENT

    FAP

The Fenix Flight Attendant Panel for cabin status, lighting and doors.

Home · Back · EFB
Home opens the UZB menu. Back returns to your previous UZB view. EFB reopens the flight bag. Opened panels stay loaded when you change views.

  1. On your simulator PC: load the Fenix and run START_IPAD_DECK.cmd. Keep the console open.
  2. On your iPad: connect to the same Wi-Fi and open the address printed by the launcher in Safari. Use the PC address; localhost would refer to the iPad itself.
  3. Link your panels once: open Crew Deck settings and paste the complete URLs from your actual Fenix EFB, MCDU and FAP tabs, including their port and path. The links are remembered in that browser. See IPAD_CREW_DECK.txt.

If an embedded panel stays blank: select Open in a separate tab, then close that tab to return. The return bar depends on the installed Fenix version allowing embedded display; native iPad/Safari/Fenix compatibility still needs an on-PC check. On the original Fenix web interface, MCDU and FAP may open separate Safari tabs: close the extra tab or select the EFB tab to go back.

External iPad and cockpit tablet: Crew Deck is a browser launcher. It does not install a native app in the cockpit tablet or change the Fenix instrument graphics. In the aircraft, use Documents → My Documents → UZB_Ops; the company documents have Crew Centre return links. The external web interface and the cockpit tablet can offer different shortcuts. Crew Deck itself needs no SimConnect or Hoppie setup.

  • DESTINATION COLLECTION

Every arrival has a sense of place.

The arrival banner now pairs your flight with a real photograph of its destination. A quiet image panel, city and country sit beside the flight information, with the UZB identity throughout.

144 photographs cover all 151 airport contexts, including every arrival in the current network and curated rosters. The image follows the loaded OFP and recorded diversions. Shared-city airports can share a photograph.

All images are included in the Windows package. Explore the collection in Airport profiles, search by city, country or ICAO, and open the discreet source credits when you want to know more. Photography is decorative; it does not show live airport conditions.

UPDATE / UZB OPS 0.6.2
Version 0.6.2 keeps approach tracking during level flight near the destination and clears stale tracking after a simulator disconnect.

Included: Crew Deck for iPad, return controls and a 15-document flight bag. Open Documents → My Documents → UZB_Ops → 00 Crew Centre for the 15-document index. The initial landing minutes now come from SimBrief planned airborne time, with full UTC planned dates in Flight Release. A pilot FMS update takes priority; unsaved edits survive polling. The 30-minute message trigger is a separate policy. Diversions clear the old ETA, and starting the app in flight never starts a new full-flight countdown.

Registan Afterglow joins the three original EFB wallpapers in UZB Ops. In UZB Ops open Fenix EFB → A flight deck of our own. to preview and download Registan Afterglow, Silk Road Night, Samarkand Teal or Daylight Crew as a full-size PNG, or get the complete collection as a ZIP. Downloads are local and work while Fenix is closed. A separate availability check helps you open Fenix web EFB settings when its local service is running.

Close the old black UZB Ops console with Ctrl+C, extract the entire new ZIP into a fresh folder, then run SETUP_WINDOWS.cmd. Use the tab it opens and check UZB OPS 0.6.2 at the top. Closing browser tabs alone does not stop the old app.
This release includes the pinned SimConnect component for offline setup, an in-app Check SimConnect installation button and older-copy detection. It keeps the aircraft connection open while the first values arrive. If an older copy is detected, live dispatch and automatic EFB writes wait for its console to close. The destination photograph appears with your loaded OFP; it does not need a simulator connection. Automated tests and browser checks are documented in the current release notes; the Windows/MSFS/Fenix connection still needs a test on your PC.

Beta scope: the app uses a local MSFS connection and Hoppie TELEX. Windows/SimConnect and actual Fenix reception need an on-PC acceptance test. Direct vAMSYS account integration and real-airport gate feeds are outside this release. The 30-minute window is our configurable VA policy.

  • 01 / INSTALL

    Start on the simulator PC

Install Python 3.10 or later, 64-bit, with the py launcher. Close any older UZB Ops console with Ctrl+C, extract the entire new ZIP into a fresh folder and run SETUP_WINDOWS.cmd. SimConnect is included for offline setup. Use the tab that opens and check UZB OPS 0.6.2 at the top. For later flights use START_UZB_OPS.cmd and keep its window open. Before updating, close the previous UZB Ops console with Ctrl+C. CHECK_UZB_OPS.cmd shows the exact import or DLL error if a check fails.

  • 02 / SIMBRIEF

    Copy your Pilot ID

Open Account Settings → Your SimBrief Data → Pilot ID and copy the number into Connections. The account alias also works. Use the account that generated your booked OFP.

    Open SimBrief account ↗

Your VA pilot number, VATSIM CID and email address are different identifiers.

  • 03 / HOPPIE

    Connect company messages

Request your personal ACARS logon code from Hoppie and check the email, including spam. Enter the same code in UZB Ops and your aircraft; check the Hoppie network setting.

Get Hoppie code ↗Hoppie account ↗

Keep the code private. The four-letter CPDLC facility identifier is a separate setting.

Fenix setup: put the code in the Fenix desktop app before opening MSFS, then set the flight number on MCDU INIT. In UZB Ops, load the generated OFP, connect MSFS, check the displayed callsign and aircraft, enter a current FMS landing estimate in strict mode, then confirm and arm dispatch.

Our colours. Your flight deck.

The UZB Crew Kit 1.1 brings our original VA logo to three signature EFB colours, each supplied in Fenix’s published 2028 × 1536 px format and a 2560 × 1600 px wide version, plus editable vector masters. The VA emblem and wordmark sit at the centre, with clear space above for your app icons. Open a preview to view or save the full-size Fenix PNG.

Fenix wallpaper instructions ↗

Load the Fenix aircraft, open its web EFB Settings on the simulator PC and choose a PNG. The included README gives the exact local address. For other tablets and add-ons, use their own supported wallpaper controls; cropping varies.

Brief it. Save it. Fly it.

Also inside the Crew Kit: a fillable crew briefing PDF with 19 interactive fields and checks. Record the callsign, aircraft, airport identifiers, departure and arrival notes, current FMS estimate and the source of a stand allocation. Save a copy per sector or print it for your desk.

Page two keeps the UZB Ops connection walkthrough close at hand. This VA preparation card accompanies your OFP and charts; aircraft procedures and performance come from the aircraft/add-on manuals.

Your company.
In the cabin.

The original VA announcement collection, with our improved boarding and deboarding programmes ready to download. Uzbek, Russian and English voices bring the crew experience into each phase of the flight.

For pilots: extract the ZIP and play the relevant MP3 locally. If Pegasus or another cabin add-on already plays it, use one playback source to avoid duplication. MP4 files are for listening/viewing; choose MP3 for supported VA sound configuration.

VA-created simulation material using synthetic voices, not official airline recordings. Uzbek/Russian native-speaker review has not been completed. Match any safety-briefing variant to the cabin and equipment in your add-on; installation and provenance notes are included.
